About the Author
Keith A. Erekson is an award-winning author, teacher, and public historian who currently serves as the director of historical outreach and partnerships for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He also sits on the editorial board of the Church Historian’s Press. Previously, he directed the Church History Library. He earned a PhD in history and an MBA and has authored numerous books and articles on topics including politics, hoaxes, Abraham Lincoln, Elvis Presley, and Latter-day Saint history. His latest book, Real vs. Rumor: How to Dispel Latter-day Myths was published in 2021. Erekson lives with his wife and daughters near Salt Lake City.
