Description
This volume tells the stories and presents the evidence that persons involved in the production of the Book of Mormon, from ancient to modern times, hoped it would help authenticate this text for modern readers. The authentication technique collected in this manuscript is called archival provenance. No book yet published has taken this approach. Some books have examined limited elements from this larger approach in other contexts, but with research that is now over four decades old. This book uses updated research from The Joseph Smith Papers Project and other current sources and packages this research using provenance as one way to authenticate the text.
