Thou Art the Christ: The Person and Work of Jesus in the New Testament — The 47th Annual BYU Sidney B. Sperry Symposium

Lincoln H. Blumell received a BA and an MA from the University of Calgary, an MSt from Oxford, Christ Church, in Jewish studies, and a PhD from the University of Toronto in religious studies. Before coming to BYU, he held a visiting assistant professorship in the Department of Classical Studies at Tulane University in New Orleans.

Tyler J. Griffin received his BS, MEd, and PhD degrees from Utah State University. He taught in the seminaries and institutes for fifteen years, where he also trained potential seminary teachers and developed an online home study seminary program. Tyler co-founded and co-directs the BYU VirtualScriptures.org group.

Eric D. Huntsman is a professor of ancient scripture at Brigham Young University, where he serves as the coordinator of the Ancient Near Eastern Studies program in the Kennedy Center for International Studies and is affiliated with the Classics program. After graduating from BYU with a BA in Classical Greek and Latin, he earned an MA and a PhD in ancient history from the University of Pennsylvania. He joined the BYU faculty in 1994.
