Elder Ronald A. Rasband was sustained as a member of the Quorum of\u00a0the Twelve Apostles in October 2015 after serving as a General Authority\u00a0Seventy since April 2000. Elder Rasband attended the University of Utah.\u00a0He then joined Huntsman Container Company and was later appointed\u00a0President and Chief Operating Officer of Huntsman Chemical Corporation.\u00a0 In
\n1995, Utah Valley University awarded him an honorary Doctorate of Business\u00a0and Commerce. In 1996, Elder Rasband left Huntsman Chemical Corporation\u00a0to serve as a mission president in the New York, New York North Mission. He\u00a0and his wife, Melanie Twitchell, are the parents of five children.<\/p>\n
