Follow Jesus Christ, one faithful step at a time.

Discipleship grows through daily choices. In Wilford Woodruff’s Way: A Path of Discipleship, Alexia Kay explores how an ordinary person becomes a devoted follower of Jesus Christ. Through Wilford’s experiences, she invites you to reflect on your own journey.

Learn from Wilford Woodruff’s life

Drawing on Wilford’s records, Alexia shares lessons from his remarkable life. She also includes personal stories from her own life and from members of the Wilford Woodruff Papers Project. Together, these experiences reveal how faith can shape our choices and help us face uncertainty.

Along the way, you’ll explore how to:

  • Hear the Lord and trust His guidance.
  • Follow Jesus Christ through uncertainty.
  • Endure trials with faith.
  • Serve others with love.
  • Make and keep covenants.

Reflect on your own path

Each person’s path brings different challenges. Yet Wilford’s experiences invite us all to consider whom we choose to follow.

Throughout the book, thoughtful journal prompts encourage you to pause and reflect. As you do, you can recognize how Jesus Christ has already been working in your life. These moments of reflection also invite you to consider where He may be leading you next.

Take the next step

Whether you seek reassurance or a deeper commitment to discipleship, Wilford Woodruff’s Way offers encouragement for the journey. Learn from his example, reflect on your experiences, and keep moving toward Christ.

You don’t have to see the entire path ahead. You simply have to take the next step.

“What a great look at how one devoted man’s influence is continuing to be felt today. In Wilford Woodruff’s Way, Alexia offers us a great example of discipleship and invites us to translate that into our own lives. It’s not a biography or a history, but an application of President Woodruff’s decades of life lessons and faithful service.”

— Kristy Wheelwright Taylor

“This book is a beautiful reminder that discipleship isn’t built in one defining moment, but through the small, faithful choices we make again and again. Alexia helps you see the life and words of Wilford Woodruff and invites you to look more closely at our own journey with Christ, to recognize His hand, trust His guidance, and choose Him along the way. Inspiring, relatable, and deeply faith-filled, this is a book that will leave you wanting to become a more intentional disciple of Jesus Christ.”

About the Author

Alexia Kay is equal parts visionary and doer. She loves taking a big idea, creating a plan, and rolling up her sleeves to make it happen. She holds degrees in dance education and arts administration, along with what she calls a personal PhD in resilience. When she is not running companies and mentoring others, she is at home wrangling her four kids and four dogs with her husband.

As Senior Director of Communications and Development for the Wilford Woodruff Papers Project, Alexia spent years immersed in the records and testimony of Wilford Woodruff. Witnessing his journey of discipleship deepened her own relationship with Jesus Christ and inspired her to write this book to help others on their unique path of discipleship.
