Description
What is worship?
Why is it important?
Does God really need our praise and adoration, or does it do something for us?
By sharing his own personal experiences and considering how other people have worshipped in biblical times and in other faith traditions, Eric Huntsman offers insights for Latter-day Saints to help us see new ways of thinking about worship and how we can build on the good things we already do. As we consider how we worship through prayer, ordinances, holy places, sacred time, the word of God, and uplifting music, we will find what it really means to worship with our heart, might, mind, and strength. We also discover the importance of creating space for worship and being more intentional and focused when we pray, praise the Lord through hymns, study scripture, or attend the temple and sacrament meeting.
Accept Eric Huntsman’s invitation to take a fresh look at worship, and discover how worshipping with more purpose allows God to transform us and draw us closer to Him.
