Entre as mudanças feitas Joseph Smith são estes quatro em 1 Néfi 11 e 13

A mais antiga edição do Livro de Mórmon que se refere a Jesus como "Deus". Joseph Smith mais tarde mudou alguns, mas não todos, destes para "o Filho de Deus."
