A prophet speaks the words of the Lord. But if a prophet is not always acting as a prophet, how are we supposed to know when the President of the Church or another Church leader is speaking as the mouthpiece of the Lord? Listen to this episode for a discussion of these issues. The full text of this article can be found at Mormon Times.

Typical that the this attack on the LDS church regarding homosexuals should be by someone who has difficulty spelling.
The LDS church is not homophobic – phobic suggests a fear or dread of something.
The LDS church simply says that homosexuals and lesbians are in error according to the word of God, in other words, they, like all people everywhere, are sinners for one reason or another.

How can a building be built with a foundation that can not hold to the truth.I was once a Mormon I studied as I was told to do, but each time I studied your book of Mormon keep et coming short.when The foundation Joseph Smith: This man not a god shows that he was wrong in so many prophecy that He said thus said the lord was not true and came till this day to not come to pass. one Mormon said he just wrote it down not meaning that it was true prophesy I might could see that if he hadn’t said everything he wrote was from God the Father.
If you have the truth people need to know if you are false then all need to know. if you are going off the foundation of Joseph Smith you are heading down the wrong Road. Please write back and don’t push this under the rug. People need to know the truth if you have it tell me.
