I enjoyed the sound advice regarding maintenance of our precious testimonies. Scripture study should be aimed at more than just reading scriptures cover to cover:
1) make it a scholarly exercise to solidify our understanding of core doctrines, inviting the Spirit to give us understanding
2) prepare to share our testimony and a “reason for our hope”
3) prepare to defend against specious arguments by well-intended critics who usually parrot “canned criticism” prepared by mal-intended people such as Kramer or Decker.
