CALLER:
So the question is God’s given me a heart to talk to Mormons and so I’ve gone out and I’ve gotten books and I’ve also gotten their gospel works which are all the works of the Mormon Church and in my studies I’ve found that there are more than 4,700 commandments that they must follow for exaltation but I have not found anything that has all of these commandments in one area. I mean God was gracious enough to give us the ten commandments on two tablets of stone so my question is to your knowledge has anyone Mormon or otherwise documented in one writing all of the commandments that they are to follow.
RICHARD ABANES:
You know I don’t know of a book where that’s available, I do know that there is a book the title of which I cannot call to mind that does have several hundred of them and if you want to e-mail me I will try to hunt the title of that book down and you can use that but there are several hundred in there interestingly the Book of Mormon does say that ‘you are saved by Grace after all you can do’ and so I suppose all you can do would include all of those commandments. You’re on a good track there of being able to kind of share those kinds of things with the Mormon.
