Adultery

Was plural marriage actually adultery before 12 July 1843?

Summary: It is claimed that Lorenzo Snow's testimony shows that anyone who practiced plural marriage before the date that D&C 132 was written (12 July 1843) was guilty of adultery. Since Joseph had entered into plural marriages before that date, they conclude that Lorenzo was essentially admitting that Joseph was an adulterer.
